g. Appearance retention: BS 6659 results required or higher:

h. Tuft anchorage: ISO 4919 9-10, newtons required or higher.

3. Tufted Broadloom Carpet
a. All carpet yarn must be twisted with a minimum of four turns per inch (input twist) and be heat set with Superba or Suessen methods.
b. All nylon carpet must be stain treated with foam/spray and heat set method.
c. All carpet must pass Tuft Bind Test minimum of 6 (dry).
d. All carpet must be warranted for wear at 10 percent fiber loss over 10 years.
e. Tufted carpet must have a primary and secondary backing (synthetic/polypropylene).
All carpet must be in compliance with CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute) “Green Label Plus”. Products must pass Carpet and Rug Institute “Green
Label +” certification.
