About our peccary leather

Paula Run CUEROS is a Peruvian company. Our core business is the manufacture and export of peccary leather, peccary leather gloves and peccary leather accessories. We focus on getting top quality leather, through a careful tanning process.
Peccary leather is not 100% homogenous and its quality varies. Paula Run CUEROS sells differents qualities of peccary leather, according to the output of the tanning process. We customize the quality control according to our customer needs and guarantee a careful selection to optimize the purchase of our buyers. We have experience processing peccart leather, getting a very soft, fluffy and flexible leather, and above all, clearly showing the three typical pores of this animal.
Peccary leather is characterized by its extreme softness and elasticity, and is used in the manufactured of luxury and high end goods such as gloves, shoes, belts, jackets, leather accesories and more. Famous brands already use peccary leather.
There are 2 kinds of peccart: Gray hair peccary, that is on average 4.5 sqf, very soft, thin and stretchy, perfect for gloves, garments and small leather accessories; and black hair peccary, that is on average 5.5 sqf, harder, with more spced pores and is used in shoes and bets.
Peccary leather can be sold in chrome crust for tanneries or color tanned in different colors according to our customer's needs. Peccary is exported under CITES certification, and Peru is the only country authorized to handle this certificate.

Peccary leather is an exotic skin that comes from wild pig that lives in the Peruvian jungle. As the animal is wild, It's hard to find a clean skin with no flaws. That's why good quality peccary leather skins and products are scarce and a very exclusive product.
